i have a 1990 chevy truck and it acts like it has timing issues but it was running just fine before

irt was hard to start on day and now it will not ! and i have to boost it off to try and do
anything with it but the batt is good

Are you saying it won't turn over or will turn over but not start? If won't turn over I would tighten and clean all battery connections. Also tighten and clean the negative connections on frame and motor. If that don't help then tighten and clean starter connections. If still nothing then I would have battery and starter tested.
