Im looking to buy a new engine for my 93 ck 1500, and 1 has become available but its
from a 97 truck and i need to know if it will fit.

the heads and intake are different. 4x4 and 2wd's have different oil pans. If you use the 97 engine the heads are better than the 93 heads, you use them you need an intake that will bolt on the the "vortec" heads so you can use your factory throttle body. Or you can just use your heads and intake

Will a transmission from a 91 Chevy fit a 96 Chevy with a 4l60e, if so what do I have to do to make it fit

A 91 transmission is essentially a 700r4. It's not electronic. You would have to find a way to make a detent cable work


Will 350 vortec heads fit on a 350 throttle body with the throttle body intake

a 1997 will fit into that vehicle but the engine management computer has to be the one for the 1997 5.7 and the fuel pump and fuel filter must be changed to the fuel injection setup
