Communication with prospective buyer

My ad has 12 saves, but only one person has contacted me. I have answered him twice, but the third time I tried to send an answer, I hit "reply to Jim" and it took me to the website! Is there a problem? Has he been identified as a scammer? What happens if someone else tries to contact me and I am unable to respond? Please help. Is this the way communication is normally handled?
