which transmission came with the 1994 silverado c1500 4w drive

That truck should have a 4L60E. Very good transmission. They have their problems like all of them but they are easy to rebuild, easy to replace, parts are affordable, and they do stand up to abuse

If you are running a carb take the purple/black wire and run it to the tac. Thank the guy on the s10 forrum for me. The 4L60e transmission is looking for voltage gotta love electronics. Ps tried the $800 tci trans controller...not a impressed

Mine is fuel injected and it's slipping first and second. All other gears are fine, it seems.

I have a 1994 Chevy k 1500 someone put a 4l80e in it it doesn’t shift can I swap wires in the external transmission connector to make it shift?
