Can someone help me figure out which engine I
have in this 95 Chevy k1500 cheyanne! In hearing
mixed reviews about which year which engine
came out and I’m new to this!! Have picked up
truck yet. Just have photos. But it definitely doesn’t
say vortec

No, it wouldn't be a Vortex. Look at the emission control sticker on top of the fan shroud and the eighth character of the vehicle identification number (VIN). Everything appears to be original so it's a safe bet you have what the sticker and VIN say. Hope that helps! Jim

Looked at truck today. Got vin and turns out to be a 5.7 V8. Super happy as I got this for hauling
