95 chevy k1500 parking light fuse keeps blowing any ideas on what the problem would be?

Asked by Sep 24, 2017 at 12:51 AM about the 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Silverado Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the sockets for the parking lights in front and the circuit boards
in the tail lights.  I have also replaced the light switch and still have issues.  The
lights will come on for a little bit then the fuse will blow again

Sometimes the fuse blows right away i tried disconnecting the rear lights from the front at the connection and the fuse still blows
