Hi guys; I have a 96 c-1500 WT with the 4.3l v6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This truck belonged to my MIL. She had trouble with it and took it to a shop that told her she needed a tune up and a fuel pump so when she gave it to me I replaced the pump and filter. It took a while to get it to run and when it finally fired; it ran really rough. I know it had old gas in the lines that I tried to get out without taking too much apart but now it won't start again. Any pointers as to where I should start checking?

Do a fuel pressure and leak down test. Should be 55-60 psi. And not leak down more than 10 psi over 10 minutes
