96 c1500 brake lights not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All my fuses are good, my wiring is good cause my
blinkers work. Only the top brake light works I put a new
brake light switch and a new turn signal switch cause I
read online that will fix my problem but still won’t work I
bought new brake light bulbs but nothing yet anyone have
this similar problem

I have the same problem on my Gmc 1500 third light works fine . So i rewired a strip light on my tail gate and connected it to a white wire that's in the wires going back to the tail light in the mean time while I'm still looking for original problem. Running lights and turn signal work fine .
