Are doors from a 73-87 Standard cab interchangeable with a 88-1998 standard cab chevy pick up?

I dont care about the exterior body lines. I want to know if a door from a chevy
1988 to 1998 truck generation will fit on the box body 1973-1988 generation.
Looking to update the interior and do a vent window delete of my box body.

Yes and no. Those were two different generations. Square body and round body. But...... Chevy made the square body trucks as R instead of C And V instead of K series. The R/V series trucks were made from 1987 to 1991. They were square bodied and their parts will fit 1973 to 1988 trucks.
