How do I get throttle position screw back to proper adjustment

Asked by jablake67 May 09, 2014 at 08:07 PM about the 1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500 Cheyenne Extended Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I moved the throttle position screw thinking I could adjust the idle. Ended up needing a distributer cap and rotor button. My truck now does not shift smoothly could that be the cause if so can I adjust this back to proper position using a scan tool that shows throttle position?

I feel you will need to set screw back to original position.
