92 chevy cheyenne 2500

I hooked my new alternator up while my new
battery was still hooked up and sparks came
from both I've replaced both but now my
gauges lights radio etc. Wont come on any
thoughts? 350 tbi

Use a DVOM check the fuses and circuits that might have cooked. shouldn't be to much work those old trucks are very basic.
