Back lite not working

Asked by satguy Oct 23, 2014 at 07:08 PM about the 1993 Chevrolet C/K 2500 Silverado LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Firstly, all lights in the front works.  the back lite and the nite light (when you turn the light on are not working) flasher in back seemed dimmed.  The run the normal speed but as soon as another lite even break is depressed, the flasher speed up as there is a lite that is burned if you know what I mean.  Lastly, if you leave the transmission in reverse (manual transmission) and shut off the engine, the dash lite like battery indicator and seat belt and buzzer etc light up dimly.  Any idea

I should add. I notice that the license plate light is not working. turns out that the plug is not plugin to each other. Because of one side of the plug is completely screwed up. So I ordered another one. But I am not sure if this has anything to do. Also had the truck body redone. The people are dodging my calls so obviously don't want to get involved.
