Recently replaced 97 5.7 with junkyard engine, no have no spark situation, have tested
and replaced all the usual suspects; new coil, ignition control module and crankshaft
position sensor. Still have zero spark, please am I missing something? Thanks Jeff

Not sure about this. Does the engine Vin# have to match the factory ECU? Is the engine you put in a '97 also? I know on some vehicles this makes a difference. You may want to call a Chevy dealer.

I found the problem, i had a short in the wiring harness, but when I did the truck started it dropped a valve in #7 cylinder, so back to square one.

I have a 1989 Silverado with a remanufactured tbi, new injectors, new Russell performance stainless line, an6 fittings, new ac delco fuel pump, new fuel tank and I'm only getting 6 psi at my Tbi.
