Question type: General

I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado K2500 it currently
has a 350 engine with a 4L80E transmission and a
14 bolt rear axel. I believe these are all specs for
the 454 engine but now I’m wondering if this is the
right choice to swap in any ideas

If you tow heavy loads it may be worth it. The gas mileage will be a killer though. Expect sub 10 mph numbers!

It’s not about the gas my 350 runs rich (May be the fact I have no Catalytics) and gets worse MPG then any 454 would ever use highway or residential PS @bob_nueske I don’t care about electric cars or “saving the environment” since you have no proof that creating an electric car is less polluting then a gas engine plus once battery’s can no longer store power and need to be replaced good luck paying for the battery to be recycled and polluting the planet more or you could just toss the battery to pollute that way up to you.
