Running gear swap 1990 to 2000 Chevy 2500

I have a 1990 Chevy K2500 with a bad body,  
looking to buy a 2000 2500 silverado with no
running gear, just body.  My question is will my
motor and trans bolt up to the 2000?

It won't bolt up. For it to work, it will take a whole lot of fabricating that it's not worth it in my opinion
