Have the opportunity to purchase a 1992 Buick Park Avenue in good shape. It's been owned by an older gentleman for many years and has 175,000 miles. Price is $1000. Not sure what I'm getting into but really like the style and ride. What would you do?

175000 on the 3800 engine is not a problem. If the car happens to be a PA Ultra, it will have the supercharged engine and if the supercharger oil was not checked, or got low you could be in for a repair bill on that.
