Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I opened door to get out and heard the click again. Is there a fuse for the brakes? or a switch? It pumps up while car is off but once I turn on car it begins again and pedal, braking, will go to floor and click when I release pedal.

Adding the brake fluid did the trick; for now. I'm guessing the master cylinder may be going bad since I do feel as though the pedal gives now and then, but not very often yet. Thank you for the prompt answers and I will keep a close feel to that brake pedal.
