Front passenger side cv axle

My front passenger side cv axle came off due to a
deep pothole . I got everything off properly  
installed the new one and my  shock spring sits to
low to get it back on . How do I get the shock to
relax enough to get the axle back on place. Thanks:

Sounds like your going to have to jack it up quite a bit more to install the axle through the knuckle. Make sure to use a decent jack with at least one jack stand and make sure to set the parking brake and chock the wheels. Good Luck!
