Question type: Maintenance & Repair

May 29, 2018  just spent $427 to install a
new  Mass Air Flow sensor  Does this have
anything to do with both my 98 Buick and
my current Buick have Service Engine light
stays on all the time. Oh and my 03 Buick
Loose Gas Cap light stays on. My car got
hot and AAA said vapor lock, took gas cap
off then on.  Away I went. Next day drove
car till hit.  Came out later SAME
PROBLEM car starts then dies before I can
put into gear.  Solution?

On the 03 - You seem to have a leak in your fuel return line or gas cap O-ring seal/flange. Check the rubber sections of the gas line under the car for leaks/splits, and the seal/flange on the gas cap. If AAA was correct, you have a problem with your intake manifold or gasket (coolant internal lines)- not uncommon for that manifold.
