How hot does the car have to be for the cooling fans to kick
in usually? On a 2000 Buick LeSabre Limited

I suspect one fan will turn on around the temp of the thermostat. Otherwise the fan would cool the coolant and the thermostat would not open....so lets say the turn on temp is 200. If you turn on the A/C the second fan should turn on, if this is not happening you could have a bad fan or a bad relay

Low speed fan is on when ac is on... high speed fan comes on at 218
