Won't start

When u turn the key, the lights n dash lights come
on BH it, when I turn to start it nothing happens.

Try placing the car in neutral, sometimes that will allow it to start. How old is the starter? Does it make any noise at all when turned to the start position?

We have the same problem with our 1995 lesabre. Brand new battery. Lights and dash lights work. No sound at all when turning over...not even a click. Tried neutral, didn't work. Any more ideas? It had no problems starting before the new battery (when jumped off) and cables/connections have been checked.
