Crank sensor replaced -STILL has stalling condition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OBD Says CRK SENSOR  was bad. I
replaced it and car still runs rough and dies
at low RPM. I'm going to test the rest of the
system,  but before I do,  I'll let you know
that MY customer is the one who took it
and had the codes pulled.  I'm not surprised
that he didn't even write them down. He
said that the only thing that sounded
important was the CRK sensor. So before I
continue, I would like to pull the codes
myself but I don't have a scan tool. How can
I achieve this without one?

Thank you for the info,, we used to pull codes on our Chevy's back in the day by shorting 2 pins on the port and turn key off and on 3 times then count the check engine light flashes. Welcome to the age of technology!

When a engine does not want to run at low RPM especially idle, look for a vacuum leak. On top of that engine there is a plastic part that has several ports, not uncommon for them to get cracked and leak.
