Car wont start I bought a used battery less than 30 days ago

My car wouldnt start even with a jump.Is it the
starter or alternator and how do I find out which it
is

A bad alternator shouldn't stop from turning over So if all your terminals are clean , a fully charged battery and the neutral safety switch is good it turn over So I'd say it's the starter
