Power steering

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have recently had to replace my radiator
and water pump. Durring the replacemnt of
the water pump i had to remove the power
steering pump and pulley. My issue is the
bolts to rhe power steering, now either i didnt
get one fully tightend down or somehow it
had back up. One bolt is now broke maybe
half way off in there! How do i fix this
tragedy?!

Take the power steering pump back off. Now, hopefully the broken bolt is extending out where you can grab it with vice grips and take it out. It it broke down inside the hole it gets trickier. There is a tool called and easy out that is designed to help get broken bolts out. It involves drilling a small hole into the bolt and fitting the easy out into that hole and then reversing it out. That is if all goes well and you have lots of room to work. Sometimes PBlaster and/or a torch will help get stubborn bolts out. Plenty of utube vidoes about how to do this.
