You may have a problem with your electric fans. The one on the engine side of the radiator should be running whenever the car is up to temp. Then when you turn on the A/C both fans kick in....you may have a bad fan or bad fan relay.

My check engine light just came on. I know my oil little low would that make it come on. My car is 2000 Buick century has 82,000 miles on it. Good for 20 old car I’ve never had problems before I’ve had car 4 months. Wounded why check engine light just came on.
