Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have a Buick Century 98 but my car won't even
turn on anymore. The antilock is on and I can't
even start the engine. When it was working you
would hear ticking noises inside the engine. Took it
to the mechanics and they all said it may be the
lifters but it will be a very very expensive to fix.
That I don't have right now. I want to fix it myself
but I don't know where to start. Somebody out
there know what to do?

I have a suggestion on the ticking noise that you can try with no promises but it worked for a friend of mine that had ticking in the engine change oil and add some Lucas Engine Oil Stablizer tapping disappeared after 45 minutes to an hour of idling. As far as the antilock being on can not help you maybe someone else may see your question and help you out with that.
