Was running great & then it just stoped. cranks over just no spark after inpection i found that the serpintine belt started to fray & rub against the 4 wires bthat go ti fly wheel sending unit & must have grounded out. i ckecked all the fuses fusable links & relays i know about could those wires shorting out burn up the coil packs or could it have scambled the ECM how would i go about checking these???

if there is an autozone near you or another car parts store....some of them can actually check coil packs if they are still good or not.....

Another item to look into is the crankshaft position sensor - it may not be able to provide a signal to the ECM (because of a grounded or broken wire), or it has failed altogether. No signal, no start.
