Stuck seat

Asked by chefdawn May 27, 2016 at 05:28 PM about the 2006 Chrysler Town & Country Touring LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country touring
van, and my driver seat is stuck sitting straight up, I
can move it back and forward but the reclining part
only moves forward and won't lean back and so
now it is stuck sitting upright and I was wondering
if there is a way to override this so I can lean it
back some, and what is possible wrong with it,
there is nothing under or behind the seat to stop it
from moving and it was just working last week.

10 years of use wears things out motor(s) or gears (plastic) ALWAYS the Driverside! there are 100s of these in salvage yards contact a local one and request a price for the seat track and motor mechanism. Regards
