AC not working after alternator replacement...

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have lost all faith in the garage I am going to.  I had an alternator replaced and now my air conditioner isn't working, specifically blowing hot air.  There is plenty of refrigerant in the system.  It worked fine when I brought it in.  The garage is now telling me I need a new PCM because it is not turning on the AC as well as a new AC clutch because every time it tries to engage the clutch, it blows a fuse.  If the PCM is not sending a signal to the AC then how can the clutch blow the fuse?

Does this make sense to anyone?
