2007 outlander won't start

Lights and radio work when I turn the key but won't
start just a single click is all had the starter
replaced. Mechanic said it maybe the key. But I
figured I should seeks other opinions first

Do you have a security light flashing or a figure of a key flashing on the dash??

Have your battery checked out. The click means that insufficient power is getting to the starter. Also, make certain all battery, starter and alternator connections are clean and tight, Still no go? Check the tension on the serpentine belt.
