My 2007 3.8 spyder convertible has a warped rotor. Should I replace with original parts or upgrade

Asked by Brad Nov 06, 2012 at 10:24 AM about the 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GT

Question type: General

I need some information. My 2007 3.8 spyder convertible has a warped rotor. Can I just replace it with stock parts or should I upgrade (Pads and rotors)). I don't race the car. Wife drives it to work. Might do some motorcycle rallys next summer. Thanks Brad bradley158@charter.net 608-445-1993

Just replace it with stock parts. Don't waste the money on slotted or drilled or anything fancy. Buy a nice pair of basic rotors and probably pads and call it good. Just remember, what you do to one side, do to the other

First I would see if they can be turned, most brake shops do free estimates have them check the specs and if they can be turned do that since usually it is much cheaper.
