what does it mean when ur vdc light comes on

Here is a good thread on the VDC. It lights up when wheel(s) lose traction indicating it is working, does not necessarily mean anything is wrong. http://www.justanswer.com/nissan-infiniti/7d86j-infiniti-fx35-does-mean-when-vdc-off-light.html ..The thread is not specifically on your M45 but it's the same
