wont turn over. It wants to, but it wont.

Asked by slammed86944 Mar 31, 2007 at 05:52 PM about the 1993 Chevrolet Cavalier VL Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The car was overheating, so I replaced the thermostat and sensor. It fixed that problem. But now it won't even turn over. Coil-pack was replaced about 3-4 months ago. Any input?

Hi slammed ... When I hear "overheat" I worry about the head. I'd have that checked out first before I put another penny into the car. Otherwise here is a no-start troubleshooting guide to help you run down some of the other possibilities ... Good luck! ... http://www.samarins.com/diagnose/index.html

If there was anything wrong with the head it would not even try to turn over because it would be seized up I'm currently having the same problem and already checked the head
