The 2007 Overland does not have power mirrors. Why not?

Asked by Selena Jul 10, 2007 at 11:42 PM about the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland

Question type: General

The build date is Dec. 2006 on this 2007 overland demo.  The dealer says that because it was a late build it was discontinued.  Is this true.  Were power side mirrors duiscontinued in later build 2007 Overlands?  Will they be found on the 2008 model?
Any other reason why this car should not have these mirrors?

My biggest question is why, in a car that costs upwards of $40,000, are power mirrors not standard. I did a little research on Jeep.com and looked at used listing on Autotrader and Autobytel, it appeared that most of them did have power mirrors, some of them listed them as an option and some of them not. The info on jeep.com was completely useless. They didn't list it as an option or as a standard feature. I can't figure out why yours doesn't. Strange.
