2007 Jeep GC Engine Issue

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need your help!  I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8.  The problem I am having is two-fold, but I'm not sure if they are related.

Problem 1 (the biggest problem): Occasionally the engine will drop RPMs while idling, and it will "jerk" during acceleration.  It feels like it a misfire. Usually it only does this up to about 25MPH, but it has done it a couple of times while going about 70MPH on the freeway.  I have had the spark plugs replaced, faulty coils replaced, transmission fluid flushed and nothing has solved the problem. All of the techs have not been able to exactly pin-point the problem.

Problem 2: The tire pressure warning light and notice stating "SERVICE TIRE PRESS. SYSTEM" will flash for about 20 seconds, then go away.  All the tires are at the correct pressure and do not have leaks.

One tech mentioned that the problem may be a faulty computer which is causing the fuel injector to work improperly, but as I stated earlier they have not been able to exactly pinpoint it as the culprit.

Has anyone had this same problem(s)? Do you have any suggestions for solutions I can look for?
