I have an 2007 Grand Prix gt 3.8 supercharged and
need a new transmission will an transmission from a
06 Pontiac Grand Prix non supercharged work for a

No it will not work !


No. You require the heavy duty version of that transmission. It will have "HD" attached to the end of the model number and is the only one built to be comatible with the much more powerful supercharged engine. They are used in a couple of other supercharged Gm cars besides the GTP. Do your homework and then start searching auto wreckers online. I've bought a couple of them in the past and had to go quite far afield to find them, but they are quite compact and not terribly heavy so having them shipped to you isn't particularly expensive.

Will a 2001 Buick park avenue ultra 3800v6 supercharged tranny work in a 2001 grand prix gtp supercharged?


Yes I would think so. Same year, same drive train, and probably hasn't been run hard.
