Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The heat in my 07 grand prix blows out warm. just barely warm tho. almost cold. The light on the control panel to turn the AC on cold stays on and i cant get it to go off so the compressor is running all of the time. Could this be causing the problem?

your running air condition on a cold day? just kidding, on defrost, and maybe one other setting the air condition pump kicks on winter or summer to remove dampness, switch to heat or away from defrost, that will help a very little your problem is thermostat not closing enough, blocksome of the rad with cardboard till you can replace it.just watch for an overheat if the outside temp. warms up,leave a tab on the cardboard to stop and lift it out,
