Not starting

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Wasn't wanting to start but eventually would. Battery
voltage was 12.4. Put new battery in and voltage was 14.7.
Sat over night and the next morning it wouldn't start, with
voltage being 12.2 on new battery.

Sounds like something is on and draining the battery. Check the obvious first, interior lights are often the culprit. Make sure they all go off when you shut the car down and lock it. After that scan for trouble codes. Some electronic malfunction may be draining power and might show up as a fault code. After that inspect wiring carefully for a possible wire that's pinched or rubbed through and may be grounding slightly.
