I thought the TPS ( tire pressure sensor ) relearned and reset itself after driving the car. The pressure info should be preprogrammed into the cars computer. I thought I have read that somewhere before.

It could also mean the battery in the sensor itself could be going bad. I would drive it for a few days and see if the message goes away. The batteries in the sensor are over 8 years old by now so it is possible they are failing there is one for each wheel. Heres a link with some info on TPS failure that will get you to speed: http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/997-turbo-gt2/275398-help-pls-tpc-inactive-what-does-mean.html

I thought it was just me LOL. I did a quick search on 2007 boxster tps inactive and keep getting tire pressure monitors going bad and replacement units as the primary result. So we may need more info from you Trapito to get the correct asnwer. Is it just the error message or is the car itself running differently that before the battery swap?
