2007 x5 won't start the radio and dash works ! Help what could it be

I have 2007 x5 and it won't start it makes a clicking
noise the radio dash board works but no start ! I
pray and hope it's the battery if so is it easy to
replace yourself ! I also saw a battery sign as well

You have a dead battery… Either charge the battery, or replace it. Also make sure that the battery does not have to be registered to your vehicle… Otherwise you will brick the car

Ohh ok !! How do u do that ? And once you replace the battery should it start right up? Because it still wouldn't start !!

Try to jump start.there is a location in the engine compartment. If it still clicking might b your starter.And yes the battery needs to b registered. Battrey is in the cargo area under the spare tire. Good luck

Yes… just the battery does need to be registered, jump the car and drive it a good 40 miles with no accessories on such as air headlights stereo. That should recharge the battery enough for you to be able to drive it. However if the car will not except jump, then purchase a new battery, and then have it installed at the dealer, or a GIAC tuner
