XL7 2002 Suzuki

Asked by May 22, 2017 at 11:04 AM about the 2002 Suzuki XL-7 Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Suzuki started acting strange about a
month ago. At times the RPM's run very
low, and then idle high. When stationary is
vibrates very intensely. Recently when I
start it, it will shut off. When I start it again I
have to rev the engine then it will stay on.
Someone said it may be a gasket, or a fuel
Pump issue. I'm hoping someone may be
able to shed some light!

I'd try cleaning the throttle body first and check for vacuum leaks. Check engine light on?

Yes the check engine light is on. Someone also said that it could have been due to the type of gas used?
