Check engine light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My check engine light has been on in my 03 xl7 and
nobody can figure out what it is. I thought it was the
sensor but when we ran a test it showed that it
wasn't it. Any ideas?

Have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes at an auto parts store. Write down the codes for further assistance.

You sure you are talking about a service engine light and not the CEL ( check engine light)? I have an 01 and an 05 XL-7s. I believe there are 2 separate lights that come on. Please let me know what you discovered.
