I hope it is as simple as linkage or a solenoid. Many years ago, the same thing happened with my dearly departed 1995 Pathfinder SE. Had to put a rebuilt trans in it. The repair would have been almost as much, so I went with the rebuilt. Until you get yours fixed, be vary aware of how and where you park. Good luck.

I just replaced my 2002 4x4 Nissan Frontiers transmission with a used one, but the reverse nor the high gears work. Should the whole transmission need to be rebuilt or is it possible that something minor can go out on it?
