Transmission problem I am having trouble with my transmission it won't shift and my dashboard cluster is not coming on unless I shift from park to reverse or drive. The mph does stays at 0

The miles I have driven stay the same the check engine light came on and it says P1698 code

The code is for the following. - Faulty Engine control Module (ECM) - Engine control Module(ECM) harness is open or shorted - Engine control Module (ECM) circuit poor electrical connection - Low battery voltage I would start by checking the computer make sure it is in there safely and also check your battery level.

Speedo head is junk get a used one and have it flashed as it is the body control module

Oh ok but the cluster won't have anything to do with the van not being able to go faster the 40 mph would it?

Van is stuck in first gear 40 mph max. Scatter will follow if pushed faster
