I have a 2006 Buick Lucerne CXL I put the key in to start it and it won't make a sound to start, everything lights up on the dashboard when I turn the key. Does anyone know what I need to do?

Is shifter in the park position? Have you checked the battery for proper voltage? Are all the battery connections tight and clean? Also check negative connections on the frame and motor.
