I have the same issues on my 06 Subaru B9 Tribeca. Possibly bad or loose gas cap or dirty air cleaner filter element under the hood. Google check engine light, flashing cruise control light and traction control light flashing...I have found a few topics there as well. I'm going to try to replace the gas cap and air cleaner filter element and not disconnect the battery cable yet to reset the error lights. Because I've read that if I replace the two tings, I mentioned and drive it a few days, the lights are suppose to just go off.

Er ss is speed sensor just had it replaced an now is gone also traction control cruise and abs lights were on now are all off
