how do i replace a ignition switch for 2003 chrysler town and country

i parked it yesterday pulled the key out and went out later in the eveing, to start it and the
ignition switch is not turning over. I can not get it out of gear or anything it will not do
nothing

Those things can get stuck. One thing that may get you over the hump for now would be to put the key into the ignition, and take a light hammer, and give the key a tap from the end and see if that doesn't loosen it up. I had to try three times gradually increasing the force of the tap until it finally freed up for me.
