Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 07 Dodge charger 2.7 is shaking and smoke is
coming out of the tail pipe. When I drive it the
smoke clears but the engine still shakes and it
stalls on take off now loses power climbing hills. I
changed the coil packs and plugs, got a brand new
egr valve and seal, and an oil change. The
mechanic said I should have one fuel filter but I
have 2: one under the hood and the other in the
original spot. Could this be the problem? Please
help
