Asked by futureBlazermaybe Apr 20, 2019 at 05:32 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What is required to get nonfunctioning fuel gauge to work. I'm considering
purchase of a 2007 ls with 179000 miles.

With that many miles it probably needs a fuel pump and the fuel level sensor is part of the pump assembly, so deduct the price of changing the pump from the price. I hope this helps. Take care.

More than likely it's just the stepper motor on the back of the gauge. Notorious for going out. Not too expensive or hard.
