Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Trailblazer, passenger side day time running
light does not come on but blinker does work.  One
light does both functions, checked connections,
replaced bulb still doesn’t work

Seems to me switch would be working since driver side works unless you’re saying the switch controls driver side and passenger side independently?

Hi Dave, if you're using LED bulbs, flip the bulb around. Have you checked for power at the socket?

Hello, using OEM bulb thought about led. As for power, the blinker (same bulb) works.

Well... should follow the golden KISS rule. Fixed the issue with only passenger side driving running light not working, turned out to be a bad bulb after all. Tested wiring, connections, socket all good. Bulb has double filament (blinker and running light), couldn’t see the bad filament but test open on the meter. Yes I tried a new bulb from a unopened packaged and the new bulb was bad turns out.
